Trina met her hottie but tootie hunk of bear at the front gate while being escorted to her cousin sweet shop for an interview. They made a little detour there on the way getting entranced in each other. They began to kiss and did not want to break. It was steamy . Everything happen so fast like within a couple of hours that the council wanted Justus to shift infront of Trina in the meeting room but if she didn't accept she would not be allowed to leave until she does . The good thing she would have Lexy her cousin and Win Lexy's mate who's a gorilla shifter and Marcus Justus alpha. So can you imagine what she was thinking whey got to this room and started stripping...I know I've skipped a lot. That's on purpose. So you can get the book. Any who.. She sees this dot to death body and couldn't believe her mind were thinking dirty thoughts while these people were here. Justus was nervous but Marcus gave him an encouraging nod. So BAM! Awesome story. Lions, bears, wolves, and gorillas. Mates. Sex.
Jupiter is second in command of the lions. The lions are in charge of security at the Zoo. They have set up VIP tours in hopes of finding their mates.
Celeste is a receptionist at a nail salon. Her and her best friend received free VIP tickets for the Zoo. She never expects to find out that shifters exist and one is her mate.
When Trina interviews for a job at her cousins sweet shop at the safari park, the last thing she expects is to bump into a sexy bear shifter. Justus has been awaiting his soulmates arrival forever, and when he is asked to escort a human to the sweet shop his bear goes crazy. After careful introduction to his bear, Trina decides he's the forever man/bear for her. A nice paced story, quick, easy read and a HEA...what more could you ask for?
Trina Potter is Lexy’s cousin & soon to be boss as she’s on her way to the zoo for a job interview. Trina not only get the job but, also finds her soulmate too.

Great read if...you enjoy PNR, shifter books, the other books in the series, insta love, and HEA.
Side Note I did and didn't love Justus as much as the others. I was really excited to get a bear. I was really excited by some of his actions yet a few others it was just Idk...missing a little something for me, but obviously not enough to stop devouring the book, lol. I liked the connection they had, though I'm not sure if the rule changing for the Alphas is gonna work out...However I am glad this connection was made and to see the creatures mingling a bit more. I am very glad they aspect got introduced.
This novella highlights the meeting of Justus and Trina and their connection as forever mates. Trina has come to the Adventure Park to work with her cousin Lexy at her new sweet shop. When Justus meets her to escort her to the sweet shop he, as a bear shifter, knows immediately Trina is his soul mate. Convincing her to stay and accept him as a shifter is top priority. The power that their connection reflects is heartwarming. The heat they feel between them is sexy and loving. The community of shifters are transitioning into a new culture, adding select humans to their society. It's interesting to read how they are adapting to make this new human inclusion to work to everyone's benefit. Great alternate world.
I really love this series but this book seemed a little short. There was no character development and no conflict. However it was a really cute inta-love story. Justus is a bear shifter at the zoo who really wants his mate. So far, none of the tours have delivered her to him. Then he is asked to escort Lexy's cousin Trina to her sweet shop for a job interview. As he approaches the gate, his bear gets more and more excited. Then he meets Trina and she is his mate. The chemistry is thick between the two but Justus still has to tell her about being a shifter.
I'm never disappointed when I see a new Butler book pop on my carousel! Yeah, I'll admit I totally forgot and stopped reading a different book to read this one.
There are a few mistakes, mostly character names, like Justus is talking about Jupiter and Celeste. But, what's written is Justus and Celeste. Whoops....proofreading mistakes happen and I only found a few. That is way better than having major issues, turns me off on reading more when I feel like I'm reading the "rough draft".
Not the case here as expected, I'm sure ill be reading the series again and again! Two thumbs up!!
